B2B training for company teams

Lumitech Academy

Skills your team will actually use

Instructor-led B2B training for company teams — software development, cloud technologies, and digital skills, built around your team's real work and delivered live online or on-site.

About

A Riga-based academy for working teams

Most corporate training gets booked, sat through once, and forgotten by the following Monday — a rented trainer, a slide deck that could belong to any company, a feedback form nobody fills out. Teams walk out with notes they never reopen.

Lumitech Academy exists because that's a poor use of a training budget. We're a Riga-based academy that designs instructor-led programs around the tools your team already touches every day — your codebase, your cloud account, your ticket backlog — so what's covered on Monday is still being used a month later.

We work with HR and L&D managers building out a yearly learning plan, CTOs closing a specific skills gap before a launch, and SME owners who need a whole department comfortable with new tools by next quarter. Every program starts from your goals, not our syllabus — no off-the-shelf slideware, no theory nobody will use.

Approach

Bought like a project, not rented by the seat

How we scope work

One proposal, one price

You get a fixed agenda, a fixed number of sessions, and one price for the whole team — agreed before anything is booked. No per-seat licenses, no auto-renewing subscription nobody remembers signing up for.

Who teaches

One instructor, start to finish

The person who runs your skills assessment is the same person teaching the workshop and answering questions in the follow-up session — not a rotating roster of contractors reading someone else's slides.

What we build on

Exercises live in your systems

Labs run on your actual codebase, cloud account, or dataset wherever safe access can be arranged — not a canned demo that looks nothing like Monday morning. What doesn't fit gets rebuilt to match before day one.

Formats

Live, either way you meet us

Every program runs live and instructor-led, in focused half-day blocks — not a pre-recorded course you're expected to finish on your own time. Same labs, same exercises, same instructor answering questions in real time, whether the room is virtual or physical.

Most teams choose online: it's faster to schedule and works for teams anywhere, not just companies within driving distance of Riga. On-site is available by arrangement — a full day with your team away from their desks, at your office or a venue we help arrange.

The specifics

SessionHalf-day blocks, roughly 3.5 hours with breaks, scheduled around your team's calendar
Group size4–14 people per cohort — enough for a real team, small enough for hands-on attention
FormatOnline over Zoom or Google Meet, or on-site at your location — confirmed with you at the proposal stage
LanguageEnglish, with Latvian or Russian available on request
MaterialsSlides, exercise repositories, and checklists shared after every session — not just at the end

Process

From first call to lasting practice

01

Discovery call

30 minutes on your team, your tools, and what "better" looks like by the end. No proposal, no pressure — just enough to know if we're a fit.

02

Skills & goals assessment

A short survey plus a lead-interview to map where your team actually stands, not where the org chart says they should. This is what turns a generic curriculum into yours.

03

Proposal & program design

One document: agenda, outcomes, format, and a single price for the whole team. Nothing to negotiate line by line — approve it, or tell us what to change.

04

Delivery & materials

Live sessions with real exercises on your own tools, not a deck read aloud. Every repo, checklist, and reference doc stays with your team after we leave.

05

Follow-up (optional)

Office hours or a short check-in a few weeks later, while the habits are still fresh enough to correct. Skip it if your team's already running with it.

FAQ

Questions we hear first

Do you only work with companies based in Riga?

No — most programs run live online, so we work with teams anywhere in the Baltics and the wider EU. On-site sessions are also available by arrangement. Being based in Riga just means that's where our team is.

Can programs be customized to our stack and level?

Always — customization is the default, not an add-on. The examples above are starting points; after the skills assessment we adapt agenda, exercises, and depth to your team's tools and experience.

How is pricing structured?

Every program is scoped and quoted as one fixed price for the whole team, based on group size, topic depth, and number of sessions — agreed at the proposal stage, before anything is booked. We don't sell per-seat licenses or subscriptions.

What if our team's skill levels are mixed?

That's normal, and it's exactly what the skills assessment is for. Depending on the gap, we either split the agenda into tracks within one program, or tell you upfront that two shorter programs would serve the team better than one blended session.

Does hands-on training actually work online?

Yes — every session uses the same labs, exercises, and real-repository work as an in-person workshop, just over video call in focused half-day blocks. You get the same materials either way; the difference is where you're sitting.

Can we do on-site training instead of online?

Yes — the same program can be delivered in person at your office or a venue we help arrange. It runs the same way: live instructor, same labs and exercises, just in the room instead of on a call. Mention it on the discovery call so we can scope logistics into the proposal.

How many people can join one program?

Most cohorts run 4–14 people — enough for a real team or department, small enough that everyone gets hands-on time with the instructor. Smaller or larger groups are possible; tell us your team size on the discovery call.

Do participants get a certificate?

Yes — everyone who completes the program receives a certificate, along with the exercise files, checklists, and reference material built during the sessions.

Who is the training for — teams only, or individuals too?

Our core work is with company teams — that's where tailored programs pay off most. Individual professionals can join scheduled open-enrollment cohorts when available; ask on the contact form.

How fast can we start?

Typically 2–4 weeks from the discovery call to the first session — enough time for the assessment and a properly tailored program. Faster starts are possible for standard curricula.

What could your team do with the right skills?

Tell us who you'd like to train and we'll set up a 30-minute discovery call — no obligation, no sales deck. If we're not the right fit for what you need, we'll say so on that first call, not after a lengthy proposal.
